Introducing the first-ever commercially available Pinot Noir from Kangaroo Island, a remarkable achievement due to the region’s challenging conditions for growing such a delicate grape. With Amadio Wines’ winemaking expertise and years of nurturing the vines this wine has been made possible. It boasts a palate of fresh fruit notes such as cranberry, raspberry, and cherry, interwoven with hints of cola, caramel, licorice, vanilla, clove, and subtle tobacco undertones. This Pinot Noir pairs best with mushroom risottos, white pizzas, or dishes featuring wild mushrooms.

In 1991, fifth – generation Islanders Michael and Rosie Florance joined with the Amadio Family to produce the first commercial Kangaroo Island wine, under the Kangaroo Island Trading Company brand. The vineyard located on Kangaroo Island’s has the perfect growing climate and when combined with Amadio winemaking expertise, exceptional wines are produced.
